Katerina Palova is the Director of Research & Immigrant Wellbeing, overseeing the Centre for Immigrant Research and Mental Health Department at The Immigrant Education Society (TIES). Her expertise is in managing large-scale projects for immigrant settlement and cultural transitioning. Her work spans migration, climate change adaptation, newcomer well-being, professional immigrants and their settlement journeys, workplace culture, change management and EDI in the workplace.
She has been working with TIES since 2017, has served as an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia, Educational and Counselling Psychology, and Special Education Department since 2020, and as a Research Associate at the University of Michigan, School of Social Work since 2023. She previously worked for governmental bodies and private consulting firms.
